About the Role:   
As a Front end developer you are the lead engineer within an agile team. You work/collaborate with various cross functional teams of Product Managers / Tech Leads / UX to understand the requirements. These are evaluated by you and translated into design. You are able to identify the attention areas and to explain these to all stakeholders. Together with the engineering manager and the product owner you are responsible for the product backlog refinement. In short, you will kickstart the team by putting down the front end framework as a basis for current and future front end development, sharing your knowledge within the development team and cooperating with the key stakeholders
About the team:  
The Frontend team of PayuBiz has this requirement where multiple engineers work in multiple products. The team work with multiple teams in PayU in collaboration to solve common organizational goals. The team follows agile methodology and has good hierarchy of engineers work together.
 
What you’ll be doing: 
Your Responsibilities:
·         Work / Collaborate with various cross functional teams of Product Managers / Tech Leads / UX to to define, design, and ship new features
·         Provide architectural leadership in product development team, drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
·         Participate in all phases of development, from design to implementation, unit testing, and release
·         You will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
·         Lead code reviews to drive teams to the highest standards & drive teams to follow clean code principles
·         Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards
·         Taking part in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) team and maintaining the product backlog together with the Product Owner and the Engineering Manager.
·         Taking part in continuous improvement through sharing of knowledge and improvement points within the team
·         Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping & unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
 
 
What are we looking for?:
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 1+ years Front end development
·         Experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS, LESS, SAAS and general Web 2.0 techniques and
·         In-depth knowledge of JavaScript frameworks [React, Redux preferable) & library e.g jQuery
·         Background in the latest frontend technologies (e.g. ecma 6, ecma 5,webpack, Grunt etc.)
·         Good knowledge of concepts of Oops and design patterns is a must
·         Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, svn etc.
·         Great communication skills
·         Basic knowledge of Node Js will be a plus
·         Basic knowledge of Web page optimization.
 
Bonus point if you have:
        Experience in the Fintech domain and/ or B2C product experience
        An engineering degree in Computer Science (or) software development experience
        Worked on products with a massive user scale - 1 Mn+ DAUs especially
