About the role:
Manage the financial policies of the organization in the short and mid term, taking into account the financial, accounting, economic and regulatory variables of the business, in order to guarantee the appropriate level of profitability and maximize shareholder value. Monitor and control the entity's budget. Build financial models and indicators that evaluate the profitability of the different business initiatives.
What you will do:
• Design, control and monitor financial policies; Supervise and control the processes to manage financial resources, for the fulfillment of business objectives.
• Implement controls to monitor the main financial KPIs.
• Carry out financial models that allow decision-making on current initiatives and new businesses carried, seeking profitability in each one of them.
• Coordinate, prepare and present financial figures to the company's Board of Directors and to the Shareholders'
• Review and guarantee the reasonableness of the figures shown in the company's financial statements, make projections, and follow up in such a way that the main deviations are identified.
• Prepare and manage company´s Budget.
• Guarantee the timely forecast of the economic resources that the company requires in the present and in the future, complying with what is defined and approved in the budget and seeking to optimize profitability.
• Calculate budget deviations and explain their cause, as well as initiatives to correct said deviations.
• Monitor income and expenditure, and the budget in general, under the framework of compliance with regulations and tax / accounting laws; guaranteeing the reliability and timeliness of the information and accounting and financial reports.
• Monitor the prices, rates, terms and conditions of the contracted services, in order to determine if they are the best alternatives to achieve optimal results.
• Supervise the correct execution of the budget of the services provided by third parties, validating that the service agreements are fulfilled, and against the established rates; and make corrections when required.
• Review and analyze the conditions of the competitiveness of the business lines in terms of the rate structure that is offered in the market.
• Responde accordinly to the different control agencies from the financial and accounting point of view (for example, Statutory Auditor, Financial Superintendence of Colombia, Internal and External Audit, UGPP, DIAN, among others).

What you need to succeed 
• 4 to 6 years of experience leading financial areas (FP&A), involving management of financial, accounting and tax processes.
• Advanced English
• Excelent communication skills.
• Industrial Engineering, Business Administration and/or Economics; with specialization or master's degree in Finance and/or Financial Management.
