Role: Associate Director – Partnerships & Alliances

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Gurgaon

About the role:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced partnerships & alliances professional to join a young & successful team in a dynamic and fast paced growth environment.
The successful candidate should be highly effective in picking up industry segments and identify opportunities to drive value chain deals across the selected segments. This person should have the ability to connect with C-Level executives. The core objective would be to drive the partnerships and alliances vertical and accelerate demand generation through the partners onboarded.

What you’ll be doing:
 Working with India market leadership team to define and acquire merchants through strategic partnerships in line with business goals
 End-to-end on-boarding of partners from lead generation to commercial negotiations, technical integration & closing.
 Establish and build strong, profitable, long term relationships with merchants, resellers, developers, platform providers and expand the partner ecosystem
 Defining the revenue / sales targets for the set of partners being handled as well as monitoring their progress. Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, yearly business targets.
 Planning for the consistent growth in key business metrics in line with company objectives, as well as providing an accurate monthly forecast of opportunities.
 Work with marketing, product, customer experience & other teams to plan & execute promotional activity.
 Develop a feedback loop to ensure constantly improving experience for partners.
 Providing marketing support to channel partner for data generation activities/tie up.
 Building and maintaining relationships with key executives and decision makers.

What are we looking for?
 6 - 8 years of sales and marketing experience including in B2B
 Solid understanding of the SMB space especially pertaining to banking & financial needs
 Experience with signing strategic partnerships for demand generation
 A consistent track record of signing customers across different tiers and demonstrated history of exceeding sales target.
 Consultative sales style and excellent core sales skills.
 Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey issues clearly, and concisely.
 Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
 Lead discussions at C – level
 Takes direction, documents expectations, then executes with minimal further direction
 Flexible, self-driven, and proactive
