We are looking for a Java Developer who will be responsible for designing and writing code and providing support to web applications. In this role, you will work independently, taking full ownership of the design, interface, and programming of both simple and complex web applications. The ideal candidate should be adept at providing accurate estimates for tasks and taking responsibility for those estimates. As a Java Developer, you will engage with web applications and various back-end technologies, primarily focusing on Java. However, you cannot be afraid of touching frontend or testing.

Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with Creative, Business, Technology to ensure the technology will be functional and meet performance targets,
    • Owning the development of sub-systems and ensure they follow the established technical architecture and design,
    • Implementing user and business requirements which are composed of multiple development activities or touch various sub-systems,
    • Maintaining concise and clear documentation on projects as dictated by each capability’s guidelines and best practices
    • Debugging complex issues in existing software applications,
    • Providing proactive feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists.

Who are we looking for?

    • 2 - 6 years of software development experience, with the primary focus on Java and building RESTful Spring/SpringBoot applications, 
    • Work experience with frontend applications (or a readiness to learn) using JavaScript language technologies: React and Typescript,
    • Ability to gather requirements, implement the code, test the solution and deploy it in  production,
    • Experience with data storage patterns and practices, preferably using relational  databases (SQL),
    • For a bonus point-interest in other areas of IT such as CI/CD processes and tools, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, RabbitMQ, web application security, application testing,
    • Excellent communication skills in both English and Polish.
