We are looking for a Lead Product Designer with experience working in the B2C space.

About the team: PayU Finance is the credit and lending arm of the PayU brand (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Prosus group. Previously Naspers group) headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. PayU Finance India has disbursed about 20 billion loans to date by volume and has disbursed more than $280 million in consumer credit. PayU Finance provides consumers with easy access to affordable short-term loans up to INR 5 lacs that can be availed in the form of personal loans, point-of-sale EMI, and express loans. PayU Finance operates under two brands - LazyPay and PaySense with a focus on Buy now Pay later and personal loan products. Excited yet? What you’ll be doing:Shape product strategy and lead the team in executing design work with a high level of polish across all digital platforms: app, web, and experimentalMentor and inspire a team of designers, providing design direction and pushing the frontiers of the design workLead and represent your team effectively, evangelizing the work and articulating the decisions behind them, and be an advocate for user-centered design in the companyYou will be responsible for producing groundbreaking user experiences across all touchpoints Work collaboratively with different teams to identify and narrow down problems, arrive at design solutions and testing frameworksPresent findings and insights in a consumable format to the broader team; can work on multiple projects, work with the team to prioritize as needed while receiving strategic and tactical directions from cross-team leadersConvey your thoughts backed by insights, interviews, observations, and frequent usability/ user tests. Do so using design prototypes, verbally, in writing, video recordings, etc. You will work closely with your colleagues: within and outside the design team to, develop, and evolve the design process to adhere to, and create best design practices. Demonstrate thought leadership in the larger design community in India through written work or demonstrations on other media. You’re the face of the team in the design community

What are we looking for?
 3+ years of experience in consumer product design which are mobile first You can work independently with little oversight or directionYou have a portfolio showcasing successful product launches, details of your thought process, and how you collect user inputs, behavior, and translate those in to tangible design solutionsAbility to think big, comprehend, plan and execute complex feature setsA strong sense of the process for building product experiences including best practices for design deliverables including mocks, prototypes, documentation, and quality checks You can confidently articulate UX design rationale and enjoy leading conversations with teams and key stakeholdersYou are proactive, have high ownership and have a sense of accountability
