Purpose of the role:
Create and manage our newly global FinTech community of PayU Engineering! Raise the profile of PayU as a tech and product-centric company among external similar communities and act as the voice, ambassador, and evangelist of the brand through local engineering teams support, content creation, and digital engagement to build brand presence and trust, both online and in-person.

    • Set and implement the community marketing strategy
    • Create and Manage tech social media such as Medium, Facebook, GitLab, Reddit, WP etc.
    • Organize Global (including online) events.
    • Stay up-to-date with payment \ digital technology trends
    • Solid understanding of the organization and engineering team in particular
    • Work closely with the product and engineering team leaders across our EMEA and LATAM locations in order to get tech content & updates
    • Publish and work on the communication campaigns alongside marketing team \ strategies
    • Provide engaging coding \ tech \ developers content feeding the social media \ channels, PayU website
    • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
    • Monitor and report on feedback and social media \ website reviews
    • Coordinate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
    • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
    • Build relationships with the engineering team, potential candidates, industry professionals, and journalists.

What are we looking for?

    • Proven work experience as a Marketing or Community Manager in a Global tech ecosystem.
    • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
    • Hands-on experience with tech social media management for brands (Stack overflow, Medium. GitLab, Reddit)
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent copywriting skills
    • English - high level
    • Understanding the programming languages ecosystem (Nice to have)
