About the team:

The Fraud Preventions & LEA management team under Risk Operations manages the LEA queries and resolutions through immediate responses and gathering requisite response from different business units within PayU. The team consists of 8-10 members ranging execs to Manager level employees who reports in to Head of Investigations.

What you’ll be doing:

    • • Interacting first hand with law enforcement agencies as representative of PayU India organization, its senior management and/ or employees and cooperating/ supporting investigations being carried out by such law enforcement agencies together with resolving any aspects relating to PayU India.
    • • Assisting with the implementation of fraud and money-laundering prevention measures and
    • processes internally within PayU India pursuant to experience and guidance gained during interactions with law enforcement agencies.
    • • Creating internal procedures and processes for handling of communications and correspondence with law enforcement agencies and liaising internally within the PayU India organization for collection of data, documents and factual inputs for providing responses.
    • • Driving knowledge-based and long-term internal initiatives for imparting training and sharing
    • of experience with PayU India group employees and law enforcement agencies including those
    • relating to new age financial crimes and/or cybercrimes, including developing training materials.
    • • Filing complaints, FIRs and suspicious transaction reports (STRs) with various law enforcement agencies including FIU in relation to any suspicious or fraudulent transactions or patterns.
    • • Ensuring highest standards of integrity in processes and high quality of reporting.
    • • Assisting PayU India organization in making recoveries in cases of financial or cybercrimes by way of appropriate legal proceedings.
    • • Developing and maintaining a case management and information system for cases of financial and cybercrimes handled for the PayU India organization and assisting with any regulatory reporting in connection with the above.
    • • Identifying shortcomings in existing processes across business verticals and products and help implement improvements by making recommendations to management.

What are we looking for?

    • The ideal candidate will be an independent, result oriented, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced, international, dynamic and diverse environment collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
    • Graduate degree from a reputed university is highly desirable.
    • The candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency with systems and data
    • Strong analytical skills together with strong drafting and communication
    • Key personality traits of integrity, efficiency, responsibility, transparency, reliability and accountability.
    • Strong knowledge and background in new age financial crimes and cybercrimes including anti money laundering laws is a must.
    • Previous Law enforcement background and banking experience will be added advantage.
