About the role
- As a Junior Software Engineer with a focus on frontend and web development to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and updating PayU's website, contributing to enhancing the user experience and optimizing the performance of our platform.
What you'll do
- Develop and Maintain PayU’s Website
- Write clean, well-documented code that follows best practices. You’ll contribute to the development of new features while maintaining code quality through regular code reviews and unit testing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues to ensure a seamless user experience
- Continuously enhance the website by implementing new features and functionalities based on business needs.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or in the last semesters of Systems Engineering and related careers
- At least 1 year of experience
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of responsive design and web performance optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
