Role: Engineering Manager- Mobile
                                                                  
Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon

The Mobile Engineering Team at PayU Payments builds a host of payments SDKs and PayU App. These
SDKs and apps help merchants to power their business with the capability of payments collection,
invoicing and what not.
EMs ensure that the teams have an inspiring vision for the future. The teams work on a spectrum of SDK
products which powers payments. EMs provide technical leadership to identify and define the right
component/system abstractions/capabilities for current/future product/platform asks. EMs understand
business goals and contribute to product strategy. They are also responsible for driving execution using
agile methodologies by removing impediments along the way with the big picture in mind.

Responsibilities:
• Build, lead, develop and coach teams of top technical talent.
• Drive strategy and vision in collaboration with Product.
• Manage diverse stakeholders and drive project execution using agile methodologies.
• Build scalable and reliable technology solutions at a rapid pace.
• Create clear career paths for team members to help them grow with regular and deep mentoring,
attract and retain top talent keeping long term goals in mind
• Facilitate platforms solutions that span beyond the team and across the ecosystem
• Take accountability for moving the key engineering metrics within your area and Provide thought
partnership to the product team and ensure collaboration among product & engineering
• Drive agility in execution, create a strong team culture of responsiveness by leading by example and
own decision making around prioritization for better predictability

Requirements:
• B. E/B. Tech or any other similar qualification with experience as a tech leader and people manager for
at least 9+ years.
• Experience of managing teams and delivering high-quality mobile projects on time.
• Experience with building, developing and coaching teams of best technical talent in the Industry.
• Deep understanding of mobile technology and architecture
• Experience with new open source technologies and their adoption into product development etc.
