About the role:
We are looking for a great team player to join as the next Payroll Analyst to lead Payroll operations in Colombia and back up for latam countries. In this role, you will support Payroll processes for employees at all levels of seniority within the organization.
What you will do:
* Processing payroll working closely with vendors and internal customers.
* Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes
* Optimizing payroll execution systems and processes, to facilitate the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
* Supports employee queries relating to payroll as they arise, working with in-country payroll processors to do so.
* Manages relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll vendors, Finance, wider HRBPs, 3rd Party payroll providers and employees.
* Ensures compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security.
* Supports required monthly reconciliations with the Finance team.
* Responds to audit procedures and control reports to ensure the accurate processing of payroll.
* Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
* Leads Onboarding and off boarding paperwork.
* Keeps track of contracts and work permits expiration.
* Processes data into payroll and administrative databases and software’s. Prepares periodic payroll reports.
* Prepares financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
* Tracks medical leaves payments.
* Understands payroll processes for LATAM countries as back up.
What you need to succeed:
You need detail-orientation, analytical and methodical thinking skills. Experience in Payroll administration and strong knowledge of payroll regulations. Great sense of confidentiality.
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, HR management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
* Excellent command of the Office suite (especially Outlook, Word and Excel)
* 2-3 years of Payroll experience (accounting/payroll processing)
* Understanding of the principles of labor legislation.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to priorities, inquire and problem resolution.
