About the role

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing product positioning strategies, translating product strategy into detailed requirements and creating buy-in for the product vision. 

What you will do:

    • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.
    • Define and prioritize product features and requirements.
    • Maintain a strong product backlog.
    • Accountable for feature release timelines across multiple product-outcome delivery.
    • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirement gathering, prioritization.
    • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
    • Buid Business requirement documents for large client implementations, final configuration and setup by engineering teams.
    • Translate product / business needs into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering and UX teams.
    • Work with marketing, and sales teams to define a clear Go-to Market of the product release.
    • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates PayU across primary market segments
    • Analyze and report on product performance, making data-driven decisions to improve the product and drive growth
    • Prioritize feature request, enhancements, defects by closely working with customers, sales engineering, and product teams in daily standup meetings, Sprint Planning and Program Increment Planning meetings.
    • Working with various design teams to produce feature and enhancement prototypes.
    • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Marketing to plan and implement product releases. Create release notes and roadmap and communicate with customers ahead of time about upcoming releases.
    • Work with clients, research competitive product offerings to fine-tune PayU's products to be the best.
    • Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for the Product in discussions with Sales, pre-sales, customers, and business stakeholders.

What you will need to succeed

    • Located in Brazil (Remote)
    • Bachelor in engineering or Bachelor in Tech
    • English and Portuguese are a must, Spanish is a Plus.
    • Overall experience of 5 – 10 years, with at least 3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager
    • Experience of 2 – 5 years in Brazil Payments Industry
    • Solid Knowledge in Product Management and Agile methodologies
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Proficiency in Product management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Miro)
    • Creativity, Communication and interpersonal skills to present to both technical and CXOs.
    • Strong Analytical and Quantitative skills to back up assumptions and recommendations.
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment with competing priorities and requests.
