About the role
Our cloud engineers are in charge of automation, securing and monitoring of the Linux/Cloud infrastructure.
What you'll do
Collaboratie with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud and on-premise solutions.
Modify and improve existing systems.
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
Design, develop and deploy modular cloud and on-premise based systems.
Develop and maintain cloud solutions and on-premise solutions in accordance with best practices.
Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
Interact with internals clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
Work with ITIL framework with different capacity plan on different solutions.
Applied compliance to reach the security level needed to the business.
Guarantee the availability of the service
Guarantee the monitoring and observability above the infrastructure.
Keep update the knowledge database with the different solution deployment on the IT environment.
Meet change management process.
Automate task to the IT environment in tools like Ansible, Jenkins between pipelines and RPA.
Keep updated the base line of administration.
Migrate the service from on-premise to cloud solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
Computer Science, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineer
Experience in the use of automation tools such as Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Linux platform management and security industry.
Demonstrate experience integrating CI / CD processes in Gitlab, Jenkins, and others.
Experience in project execution of Public Cloud / Private Cloud environments such as AWS, KVM, OpenStack, Vmware.
Desirable knowledge in computer networks and programming languages PHP, Python, Perl, Bash, able to understand the security tools and best practices as (OS/DB) hardening, vulnerability scanning, CIS, system auditing, designing and managing IAM policies and trust policies,
Experience with infrastructure as code – Terraform, knowledge in PKI architecture and SSL/TLS certificates management and automation.
Advanced knowledge GNU / Linux operating systems.
Good background in programming and scripting.
Knowledge in access control.
Certificates and security events audit and devops.
