We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable GL Accountant with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. This role requires effective deadline management and a comprehensive approach to financial accounting tasks using the SAP system for our EMEA entities.

Responsibilities:

    • Managing General Ledger postings;
    • Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations;
    • Overseeing reconciliations between Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets;
    • Compiling reports on fixed assets, provisions & accruals, costs, and liabilities;
    • Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closure;
    • Participating in standardization and process improvement initiatives;
    • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for EMEA entities;
    • Communicating effectively with other departments;
    • Collaborating within a team of 5 accountants, led by the GL Team Leader;
    • Supporting the Accounting Manager, Head of Finance Operations, and other team members as needed.

Who are we looking for?

    • 2+ years experience in accounting with experience in General Ledger area;
    • University degree (preferred areas: economy, finance, accounting or similar);
    • Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP);
    • Advanced Excel skills;
    • Very good knowledge of the English language, spoken and written;
    • Experience in GUS, NBP, KNF reporting;
    • Experience in working with group reporting system like Onestream, HFM;
    • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and context switch in a fast paced environment;
    • Knowledge of taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT) is a plus;
    • Understanding of payment processing business is a plus;
    • Experience in audit is a plus.
