PayU is looking for a Business Manager with focus on driving strategic initiatives for its Insurance arm under LazyPay Pvt Ltd.. This role involves P&L management, stakeholder management, technology, product development, and analytics. Experience in Health Insurance sector is a plus.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for fostering strong relationships with our business partners and driving initiatives to expand our online Insurance distribution business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own P&L for the Insurance Vertical, plan and execute GTM Strategies and assist Product & Tech in development of new products and Industry 1st launches
- Collaboration with cross functional teams- product, business finance, customer service, etc to monitor and manage the category daily
- Liaison with partner insurance companies for day to day business operations and act as a bridge between partner SPOC’s and internal businesses.
- Create and maintain documentation related to processes, issues, and solutions.
- Utilize data analysis to drive business growth through product and technology interventions.
- Leverage in-house synergies of the PayU ecosystem through collaboration and business expansion opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor USPs to drive process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Insurance partnerships or portfolio/business management. Experience in Health Insurance industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of the Indian Insurance sector, IRDAI regulations and fin-tech ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in building and managing business alliances
- Knowledge of insurtech trends and emerging technologies is a plus.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Insurance industry (especially Health Insurance) to contribute to business growth strategies.
