iyzico look for the best and talent to play a key role in our growth. We are seeking a Tax Lead to anchor the tax function who will be responsible for all tax aspects including but not limited to compliance and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities

    • Managing Turkey federal and provincial direct and indirect tax returns compliance
    • Managing the review and reconciliation of tax accounts performed by the internal / external team
    • Managing the company response to tax audits from local tax authorities and statutory audits by partnering with internal teams and tax advisors
    • Partnering with CEO, CFO and commercial local and international team, legal, finance and external advisors in various business matters
    • Support global Tax Team, with tax optimization and collaborate with Global Group Tax at PayU’s shareholder level 
    • Monitoring relevant federal and provincial tax update within the country and assisting global Tax Team in driving operational changes for company and its clients
    • Preparing internal tax paper positions based on country tax law

Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree from related programs, master in international taxation is a plus
    • 8 + years of tax experience. 2+ years managerial activities
    • Proven ability of managing multiple workstreams, capacity of working independently and accurate to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced
    • Strong communication skills 
    • Excellent command of English
    • Capacity to take ownership over existing tax processes and projects
    • Ability to work in a team environment 
    • Open to new or challenging ideas presented by others
