Purpose of the Role
As a COPs Leader, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing costs managements projects to ensure they are operating in all aspects including budget and timelines, conduct comprehensive analyses of the costs associated with the products or services offered by the fintech company. There are not direct reports reporting to this role.
Responsibilities and Key Activities
• Oversee and orchestrate COPS projects (analysis and organization of tasks within the teams)
• Monitor and update COPS rates levels, being aware of the market changes.
• Play a key part in COPS updates centralizing all costs negotiations data, monitoring and controlling the process as well as managing the agreement repository.
• Timely updates of tariff levels and internal communication keeping the organization competitive in the market.
• COPS results validation, monitoring and control execution.
• Bring together cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between diverse functions to deliver projects’ key results
• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Reconciliation analysis of costs, identifying discrepancies between invoices and internal data.
• Action plans and follow up to close costs discrepancies and improve data quality.
• Preparations and presentation of data and analytics of key projects
• Effective alignment between the different functions and activities to be developed among PayU's departments with their corresponding results.
• Implementation of realistic strategies that seek to offer value to the organization by determining achievable and realistic objectives.
• Effective sharing of the data obtained to all stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor´s degree in finance, business, engineering, economy or marketing.
•B2 English level
•At least 2 years of finance, operations or project management experience (nice to have experience in a Fintech or Payment company)
Professional Requirements
•Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and cost and pricing optimization opportunities
•Understanding financial and economic principles for grasping how costs impact pricing and how they can be optimized.
•Ability to visualize and present data in a clear and informative way.
•Proven knowledge of SQL, Python and/or other data management languages and tools
Skills and Knowledge
•Proficiency in data analysis tools to analyze trends, reconcile data, and build performance indicators.
•Being able to build robust financial models to assess the impact of different pricing strategies and impact on profitability and company growth.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills (English)
