ABOUT THE ROLE
Fuelled by a recent $20M Series B funding round and consistent triple-digit year-over-year growth, Ovoko is in the process of redefining its approach to Data & Analytics. To lead this effort, we have onboarded a new Head of Analytics and Head of Data Engineering bringing >40years of combined international data experience. Ovoko Data Org has spent the last year modernizing the data architecture and tooling and now is the time to deliver business value by enabling data self service and unlocking advanced analytics.
To support our vision for continued scaling of our team, infrastructure, and processes, we are expanding our Data Team. We are actively hiring Data Engineering and Analytics Specialists for key areas, including shipping, product, payments/orders, and business operations (a.k.a. Special Ops).

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Define KPIs, identify business opportunities, and estimate their financial impact using data insights.
- Build dashboards, implement simple ETL, and utilize ML techniques for complex solutions.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and work with developers to support data-driven decisions.
- Use advanced analytics and ML techniques for complex data solutions.
- Work using world class tooling: Snowflake, Looker, Mixpanel, and the evolving AI landscape.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years experience in analytics or data science.
- Experience in SQL scripting, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.); experience with Snowflake and Looker is an advantage.
- Ability to visualize data and translate complex data into clear business stories.
- Business-driven mindset.
- Fluent English is required.
- Python knowledge is an advantage.
SALARY
The offered salary for this position is 4000-6000€ (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
