ABOUT THE ROLE
Ovoko currently has more than 35 million parts in stock. Yet a surprising number of well-formed searches still don’t return matching results. At the same time, buyers often do find these parts by contacting existing Ovoko sellers directly. Something doesn’t add up.
That’s where Mission Offline comes in.
As a Product Manager for Mission Offline you will be responsible for creating products, processes and user flows that would enable our power buyers (think repair shops) to:
- Quickly find multiple parts for multiple repair jobs from the existing Ovoko inventory
- Indicate their intent to purchase a part even if we don’t have it in inventory
- Enable sellers to fulfill that purchase intent through new or existing Ovoko tools
These kinds of interactions already happen offline every day. We’re making a strategic bet to bring them onto our platform, and you’ll lead the way.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Lead the vision: Metrics won’t provide you the answer just yet, A/B tests will not work. All you have is a couple of engineers, strong organizational backing and a dream.
- Drive discovery: You will spend a significant amount of time with our existing and future power buyers to fully understand how they are searching for and ordering parts today.
- Transfer insights to the digital world: Figure out the key user journey points, their needs and ways to productize them.
- Execute: Work hands-on with engineers, designers, support, and the customers to deliver high-quality features.
- Act as the bridge: Align internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Support, Sales, Account Management, Data and the Design).
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner for B2B SaaS, ERP, Marketplace or workflow management software products.
- Industry knowledge is a big plus. This role is meant for petrol heads, weekend racers, mechanics and general car enthusiasts.
- Strong user research skills, empathy, and willingness to get your hands dirty working with real users to better understand the challenges and flows that they are going through every day.
- Structured problem solver who can break down messy problems into clear, actionable steps.
- Strong technical insight - you are able to discuss APIs, integrations, and backend logic with engineers.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable with operational and customer-facing metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence without authority.
SALARY
The offered salary for this position starts at 5000 (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
