WHO WE ARE

Ovoko is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce startups in Europe. We represent 6000+ scrapyard owners, car parts sellers and auto dismantlers, offering them an efficient and convenient way to serve an international audience. In our mission to make the internet a better place for the automotive aftermarket, we actively search for new ways to elevate the online experience for our partners and customers alike. This attitude drives a growing demand for talented and ambitious professionals who would help us tackle every new challenge with confidence.

The Mission

At Ovoko, we don’t see operations as a dry set of rules, we see it as the engine room of our culture. We are looking for a Senior HR Operations Specialist who thrives on continuous innovation and refuses to settle for mediocrity. You won’t just manage processes, you will be our center of excellence. Your goal is to provide the People team with the data needed for strategic decisions while crafting a seamless, high touch experience for every employee - from their very first "Yes" to their final day and beyond.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

    • Architect the Employee Journey - design and automate the end-to-end lifecycle (onboarding, transitions, offboarding) to ensure every touchpoint feels like Ovoko;
    • Own our HRIS (HiBob), ensuring it isn't just a database but a source of truth while leveraging automation;
    • Lead payroll coordination with external providers and ensure 100% compliance with local employment laws;
    • Transform raw people data into actionable insights, helping leadership make informed talent decisions;
    • Lead HR operations initiatives, from implementing benefits to navigating complex legal challenges in new markets;
    • Maintain the highest standards of data privacy and confidentiality.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Solid background in HR Operations within a fast-paced or scaling environment;
    • Advanced proficiency in HiBob with a proven track record of building workflows and automations;
    • You are comfortable with numbers and speak Excel;
    • Deep understanding of payroll practices and the ability to navigate local and international employment regulations;
    • You are ready to "roll up your sleeves" and build from scratch;
    • Professional fluency in English.
