WHO WE ARE

Ovoko is transforming Europe’s €30B+ used car parts market - a massive, fragmented industry still largely offline. We connect 6,000+ scrapyard owners, car parts sellers and dismantlers with millions of buyers through our marketplace, SaaS and logistics platform, making it effortless to trade parts across borders. With over 35 million parts listed, we’ve grown into one of Europe’s fastest-scaling e-commerce companies, but the real opportunity lies ahead, as we build a real category-defining platform worldwide.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ovoko ships 200,000+ items per month across 25+ European countries, through more than a dozen carrier integrations. Every label generated, every courier requested, every tracking event ingested depends on that integration layer working without failure. When it doesn't, the consequences ripple instantly across the organization: teams can't confirm dispatch, can't enforce service commitments, field contacts that should never have existed, and negotiate with carriers with no evidence to stand on.

That's where the Shipping Carriers Performance team comes in.

As a Product Manager for Shipping Carriers Performance, you will own the technical integration layer between Ovoko and its carrier network - from label generation through courier requests through tracking ingestion through delivery confirmation. You will not negotiate with carriers or decide which ones Ovoko selects - those decisions belong elsewhere in the organization. Your job is more foundational: make the integration invisible through reliability, and make carrier performance impossible to ignore through trustworthy data. Your focus areas:

  • Carrier integration reliability - owning the label generation and courier request error rate across every active carrier, and leading new carrier integrations end to end when the network expands.

  • Tracking data infrastructure - guaranteeing that tracking coverage and tracking latency meet the standard that other teams depend on, with cross-checks against independent sources to validate the pipeline's own accuracy.

  • Carrier performance reporting - producing transit time, lost shipment rate, returned to sender rate, and courier arrival rate at the accuracy and granularity needed for carrier negotiations to be grounded in evidence.

  • Integration health monitoring - building the systems that catch failures before downstream teams notice them, not after.

This is not a feature PM role. This is an infrastructure and data trust role where your decisions directly determine whether the rest of the organization can build confidently on top of what you ship.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Own the integration layer: You will fully own the reliability of every carrier integration and the tracking data pipeline that depends on it. We'll agree on what "reliable" and "complete" mean, and it will be up to you to make that real.

  • Execute: Work hands-on with engineers and analysts to deliver integration work and data products that other teams trust without question.

  • Own the integration error gap: Identify where label generation or courier requests are failing, categorize why, and drive the backlog down to zero with engineering. A stable error rate is never acceptable - it's a backlog that hasn't been prioritized yet.

  • Lead new carrier integrations: When the business decides to add a new carrier, you own the integration end to end - reviewing documentation, identifying gaps and constraints, defining what "done" means, sequencing the rollout, and setting the monitoring thresholds that govern a safe go-live.

  • Act as the bridge: Align internal teams around what your team owns, what it doesn't, and where the data they depend on stands at any given moment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner, ideally in logistics, shipping, fulfillment, or API integration-heavy products. Hands-on experience with carrier or third-party integrations is a strong advantage.

  • Experience building technical or internal products - integration layers, data pipelines, monitoring systems, or operational tools where the users are internal teams rather than end consumers.

  • Demonstrated experience treating data completeness and reliability as a product, not just an engineering concern - defining what "good enough" coverage and accuracy look like, and building the discipline to flag gaps rather than hide them.

  • Structured problem solver who can read API documentation critically, identify what's missing or undocumented, and make integration decisions without waiting for perfect information.

  • Strong technical insight - you are able to discuss APIs, webhooks, polling, and backend data flows with engineers in detail.

  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable defining and monitoring operational metrics like error rates, coverage, and latency.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the discipline to say clearly what is and isn't your team's responsibility, even under pressure from teams that depend on your data.

NICE TO HAVE

NICE TO HAVE

  • SQL proficiency - the ability to query integration error logs and tracking event data directly speeds up diagnosis significantly.

  • Experience with webhook or polling-based tracking systems and the failure modes specific to each.

  • Familiarity with EU cross-border carrier networks - how coverage, service types, and tracking infrastructure differ between domestic and pan-European carriers.

  • Experience partnering with data teams on monitoring and alerting systems - defining thresholds, managing false positives, and translating data gaps into engineering priorities.

The offered salary range for this position starts from 5000€ (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
