ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Head of Data, you will take ownership of the entire data analytics infrastructure, shaping the direction and execution of the company's data strategies. You will work with stakeholders across the business to advise on best practices, build a high-performing team, and drive business decisions through insightful analytics. Your focus will be on developing scalable data solutions, evolving team structures, and enabling the company to leverage data for growth and product enhancement.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Work with the engineering team to develop the roadmap for data analytics infrastructure, utilizing the most modern and efficient solutions available.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices in data analytics.
- Build and develop a team of data analysts and engineers, evolve the team structure, and hire new staff according to business needs.
- Encourage knowledge sharing within and outside your team.
- Collaborate with teams across the business and the management team to understand and meet business needs.
- Guide the team through processes to define, calculate, and report KPIs in automated insights, helping to identify new business opportunities and improve user satisfaction with the product.
- Contribute hands-on by providing insights and analyses.
- Ensure the application of best practices in data management and analytics within the team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in leading data teams and building data infrastructure, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Technical expertise in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python), cloud infrastructure, and data warehousing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with building data models, ETL processes, and using data to drive business decisions.
- Strong leadership skills in hiring, mentoring, and managing data teams to deliver results.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to define, measure, and report on key metrics that drive business performance.
SALARY
The offered salary range for this position starts from 7000€ (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
