WHO WE ARE

Ovoko is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce startups in Europe. We represent 6000+ scrapyard owners, car parts sellers and auto dismantlers, offering them an efficient and convenient way to serve an international audience. In our mission to make the internet a better place for the automotive aftermarket, we actively search for new ways to elevate the online experience for our partners and customers alike. This attitude drives a growing demand for talented and ambitious professionals who would help us tackle every new challenge with confidence.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day performance and quality of Ovoko’s existing Multi-Mile Shipping models. These models are a key part of our international logistics strategy, designed to improve customer experience - particularly for oversized lightweight car parts - by splitting the delivery into multiple coordinated legs (first mile, middle mile(s), and last mile). Your role will be to ensure that these models work seamlessly every day, with a strong focus on cost optimization, delivery on-time accuracy, process control and end-to-end reliability. While our Strategic Partnerships Managers design and launch new Multi-Mile lanes and carrier partnerships, you will own the operational execution of those models across many markets.

You will coordinate performance across multiple handover points: from pickups from our sellers by first-mile carriers, through sorting centres and middle-mile relays, to last-mile delivery partners and return flows. You will also work closely with our internal logistics hub in Warsaw, which plays a central role in package quality control, repacking, relabeling, and last-mile preparation. Importantly, our logistics hubs generate rich operational data - including inbound volumes, handling times, and package accuracy metrics - but we are currently not utilizing these fully due to limited operational ownership. This role will be responsible for extracting actionable insights from those data sources and turning them into operational improvements in coordination with the warehouse and systems teams. This is a hands-on role with ba road operational scope - ideal for someone who thrives on solving complexity, ensuring process precision, and improving how things work at scale.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

    • Own the daily execution and performance of existing Multi-Mile Shipping models across Europe.
    • Ensure smooth coordination between carriers, cross-docks and sorting centres.
    • Monitor every part of the delivery chain - from pickup to return - to identify risks and resolve issues.
    • Oversee quality of packaging, relabeling, weighing, and repacking at central hubs (e.g.   Warsaw Logistics Hub).
    • Ensure 100% accuracy of weight and size data before handover to last-mile carriers.
    • Track and optimize the punctuality and load efficiency of middle-mile trucks.
    • Analyze data coming from our logistics hubs and systems; lead initiatives to act on key insights with stakeholders.
    • Report performance metrics and lead weekly improvement cycles.
    • Collaborate with SPMs, data team, warehouse teams, and WMS product owners.
    • Support long-term scalability by maintaining best-in-class process standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • 2+ years of experience in logistics operations, fulfilment, or transportation execution (international preferred).
    • Understanding of multi-leg delivery chains (first mile, hub handover, middle mile, last mile).
    • Experience working with warehouses and carrier partners in a hands-on operational context.
    • Comfortable working with operational data and data analytics tools (WMS, Excel/Sheets, Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
    • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Fluent English required, and other European languages are a plus.
    • Strong ownership mindset - ready to take full accountability for delivery performance.
