ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Business Development Manager will take charge of our supplier acquisition in Poland. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for qualifying, pitching, closing and onboarding used car parts sellers which are a good fit for Ovoko. It will be crucial to not just bring them on board, but also turn them into well informed and well functioning partners of ours. The Business Development Manager will be one of the first members of the team on the ground and an important part of making the market a success.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

    • Acquire new supply partners for Ovoko (B2B sales)
    • Be responsible for the full deal cycle: from lead qualification through closing to activating
    • Travel throughout your region frequently (field sales)
    • Partner with the Area Management team to ensure a seamless transition of support
    • Work closely with the supplier support team in order to minimise defect rates
    • Figure out which tools should be used to acquire good quality supply at the right level of costs (basically mini P&L ownership).

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • 5+ years experience (preferably in sales, business development, etc.)
    • A hustler who wants to get stuff done and help build Ovoko
    • A “hunter” who likes to take on new leads and close deals
    • A digital native, who has a basic understanding of software / database integration
    • Open mindedness and ability to quickly adapt to the changing environment
    • Startup (all-hands-on-deck) approach
    • Previous experience in the car parts industry is a big plus
    • Previous experience in B2B field sales and/or marketplace start-ups would be a big plus
    • Fluent Polish & good English.
SALARY

The offered salary range for this position is 11 000 - 14 000 PLN + VAT per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
