The Role
As a Marketing Executive, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting and delivering our marketing strategy, with a particular focus on account-based marketing (ABM) to engage high-value clients. You’ll work closely with the marketing, sales, and account teams to create, execute, and optimise campaigns that align with our brand, generate leads, and nurture client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver B2B marketing campaigns across digital channels (website, email, social media, events).
• Managing day-to-day tasks and acting as a first point of contact for both internal work and with external suppliers.
• Develop and execute targeted ABM campaigns, including researching target accounts, creating tailored content, and tracking engagement.
• Collaborate with sales and account management teams to align marketing activities with business development goals.
• Create and optimise content for multiple platforms (blogs, case studies, email campaigns, social posts) to engage prospective and existing clients.
• Create and manage sales enablement materials to support business development, including but not limited to presentation decks and case studies.
• Use data analytics and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) to measure campaign effectiveness and report on KPIs.
• Help maintain and update the company website, specifically focusing on content updates, basic on-page SEO and monitoring website to improve visibility and engagement
• Manage and grow Opencast’s social media presence by creating, scheduling and optimising content.
• Support the organisation of events, conferences, webinars, and prepare materials to support BD engagement and sponsorship at external events.
•Stay up to date with B2B marketing trends, tools, and best practices, especially in the technology and consultancy sector.
• Be a guardian of the Opencast brand and culture in all communications.
Skills and Experience
• Experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within a digital, technology, or professional services environment.
• Understanding of account-based marketing principles and experience supporting ABM campaigns is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a professional audience.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing, social media management, analytics platforms).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira)
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience using CMS platforms to update and manage website content
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player, comfortable working with colleagues across marketing, sales, and delivery teams.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Salary
£34,000 - £42,000
Where you’ll work
Your working time at Opencast will be split between multiple locations, including from our HQ and hub locations, client site or home. Travel is part of life at Opencast, and takes in account requirements of your work, our clients and your team.
