This role will help us connect with customers worldwide and bring our groundbreaking Nanoimager technology to their work, supporting their own breakthrough discoveries. As an accomplished Distribution Manager with a track record of meeting targets, you excel at bringing top-tier partners and supporting them as they represent and expand our brand and other life sciences products in their regions. Beyond your commercial acumen, you possess a deep understanding of how our technology will be utilized and its role in the broader research landscape.

Others know they can rely on your CRM records (in our case Salesforce) to have clear visibility of exactly where customers are in the pipeline. And you manage your regional partners with the same attention and accuracy, ensuring they have everything they - and you - need to be successful.

Your Role at ONI:

    • Qualify regional distributors and develop growth strategies in new and upcoming markets
    • Engage with selected distributors for contract negotiations and onboarding to ONI’s commercial team, and technology platform
    • Manage regional distributors including technical training, weekly deal management and review, defining and tracking targets, and supporting local customer base
    • Proactively support distributors to identify and engage with local conferences and academic/scientific engagements to demonstrate the Nanoimager platform
    • Use knowledge of local markets and working with local distributors to set annual/quarterly sales targets for regions
    • Track regional sales, highlighting areas where support is needed and strategies to support this
    • Work with cross functional teams (marketing, applications, operations, engineering) internally and externally to help advance opportunities with distributors and maintain excellent customer service
    • Identify new regions for commercial expansion and reporting financial and commercial reasoning to VP Sales & Customer SuccessSupport local distributors at conference events alongside Sales & FAS teams
    • Travel up to 50% of the time

Essential skills and experiene

    • Prior experience with life sciences instrumentation or medical devices.
    • Proven ability in managing channel partners or distributors
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities, capable of independently building and developing initiatives.
    • Must be fluent in Mandarin
