OLX is a customer-obsessed, technology-driven group, operating in the online marketplace space across EU markets. Within our Global FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team, we oversee the Group’s planning processes, management reporting, and spearhead other exciting ad-hoc projects. Our goal is to amplify successful initiatives and to recalibrate strategies that require optimization.

In a typical day at OLX, in the role of FP&A Specialist, you will focus on:

    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Engage in financial planning cycles, both periodic and ad-hoc. Prepare comprehensive budget reports for shareholders and management, offering a global perspective of OLX’s financial and operational health.
    • Yearly Valuation Process: Contribute to the valuation process of OLX Group by developing long-term business plans and analysing key assumptions for DCF models, WACC components, and valuation multiples.
    • Financial Analysis: Examine current and past trends in key performance indicators (KPIs) across revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures to support strategic planning decisions.
    • Data-Driven Reporting: Leverage financial systems to generate actionable insights, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and year-end)
    • Financial Systems Improvement: Enhance financial processes using tools like Anaplan and OneStream, aiming for efficiency and data reliability in decision-making.
    • Process Automation: Lead efforts to minimise manual tasks by automating processes within the finance department, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
    • Business Intelligence (BI) Utilization: Use BI tools to provide deep insights into business performance, monitor operational KPIs, and identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across different functions and countries to develop robust analytical reports and plans for senior management, offering insights and recommendations on performance and forecasting.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

    • Understanding of financial planning, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
    • Agile thinker with a proactive attitude, capable of working independently and adapting to change.
