In this role, you will spearhead strategic initiatives to drive business growth and expansion. As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and developing innovative strategies that align with the company's goals. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in enhancing market presence and maximizing revenue potential. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of business development plans, leveraging your expertise to influence decision-making and lead projects to successful outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future direction of Otomoto and make a significant impact on its growth trajectory as well as the automotive market in Poland.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies that support the company's short- and long-term goals related to the New Cars model;
- Identify new market opportunities and oversee expansion projects as well as introduce new products/services to the market;
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and business partners;
- Coordinate collaboration between various departments to effectively achieve business goals and objectives;
- Gather market insights, monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and financial results to adjust the development strategy accordingly;
- Prepare reports and presentations regarding progress and results related to business development.
Your background:
- Proven experience in developing new market strategies and increasing sales (or a similar role) within the tech/automotive industry (preferably in a mass audience product);
- Higher education, with preferred fields such as management, economics, marketing, or related areas;
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate business-related topics among different audiences and stakeholders;
- Ability to excel in a cooperative team setting and establish strong professional connections with teams across various functions;
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and ability to identify development opportunities;
- Exceptional planning & execution skills;
- Strong result orientation and ability to work in a changing environment;
- Fluency in English is a must.
