As a Junior Advertising Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across our network of websites. You will work closely with the Ad Operations team, Advertising sales team and the Technical team, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution and delivery of advertising campaigns. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in digital advertising operations within the publishing industry. Our online portfolio includes OLX, Autovit, and Storia.

What will be your responsibilities when working with us?

    • Assist in the setup, implementation, and trafficking of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms and ad servers;
    • Monitor campaign performance, identify any issues or discrepancies, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal delivery and performance;
    • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on ad creatives to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications;
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather campaign requirements and ensure successful campaign execution;
    • Optimize campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR) or viewability;
    • Generate performance reports and provide analysis to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations for campaign optimization;
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in ad operations and digital advertising technologies;
    • Assist in ad inventory management and optimization to maximize revenue opportunities;
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation to enhance operational efficiency;
    • We are an international team and it will also be part of your responsibility to make sure we are aligned between countries and perform backups if needed.

What will you need to be successful in this role?

    • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field;
    • Fluency in Romanian and English;
    • Prior experience in digital advertising or ad operations is a plus, but optional. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework will be considered;
    • Familiarity with ad-serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DFP) and other digital advertising technologies;
    • Excel skills - can maintain complex spreadsheets;
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Photoshop is a plus;
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail;
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
    • Enthusiasm for digital media, advertising, and the evolving landscape of the publishing industry.
