This role will be based in Portugal and you need to be residing in the country already.
As a Security Operations Engineer in our team, you'll be reporting to one of our Head of Security and collaborating with other engineers, SREs, and tech stakeholders at OLX while designing, helping to implement, and promoting our security incident management processes and automation.
You Will:
- Work on the OLX Security Operations Center (SOC) manage incident response, and their lifecycle, and perform incident response training for the organization.
- Work on integrating our platforms and services with the SOC.
- Work on investigation, threat intelligence, and detection engineering.
- Develop, improve, and manage alerts, and detection of automated escalation processes.
- Work on custom integrations requiring some development skills in Python, Bash, and optionally Go.
- Collaborate with other teams to streamline Security in all of OLX including Tech, Privacy, and Compliance teams.
You Have:
- 2-5 years experience working in a Security Operations Center
- 2-5 years experience working with Elastic stack for SIEM
- Experience in Incident Response and Security Operations within a highly changing and evolving environment including Cloud technologies. (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- 2-5 years of experience working with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Understanding of modern Security technologies especially for customer-centric applications, WAF, SSDLC, IAM, IDS/IPS, SOAR, SIEM, MDM, XDR, and AV.
- 2-5 years experience working with PagerDuty for alert management and escalation.
- Understanding of concepts of least privilege, agile, continuous integration and continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and containerization
- Some understanding of Security frameworks and best practices like NIST, ISO27001, CIS, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
