Skills Required

    • Creativity: Ability to generate fresh, engaging, and innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
    • Copywriting Expertise: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and original copy.
    • Social Media Savvy: Experienced with social media platforms and best practices, including managing content calendars and social campaigns.
    • Project Management: Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, using insights to drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities

    • Craft high-quality, engaging copy for brand campaigns, social media, video, UX interfaces, marketing campaigns, newsletters, brand materials, and other content as needed.
    • Write clear and compelling copy for products & user interfaces for all target markets, ensuring a cohesive brand voice across all digital touchpoints.
    • Create compelling and clever copy for brand campaigns including slogans, call to actions & taglines.
    • Write and structure copy that moves digital users - visitors and customers - toward accomplishing a goal in an intuitive way.
    • Conceptualise & create effective hooks to drive engaging content across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness and drive user engagement.
    • Assist in developing creative concepts for marketing campaigns that align with brand strategy. Assist in conceptualising and managing a brand & content calendar for all social media platforms, ensuring consistent and relevant content that drives engagement and brand awareness.
    • Research & present key digital & social media insights and trends using data, including keyword research tools, to inform the content concepts.
    • Present creative concepts to key stakeholders.
    • Assist in the creation of written briefs for podcasts and shows/interviews, ensuring content is on-brand and meets strategic objectives.
    • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements.
    • Edit and proofread copy to ensure standards are met.
    • Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure a unified brand voice and message across all channels.
    • Drive brand consistency across all communications
    • Keep abreast of digital and advertising trends in accordance with industry best practices.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role within the marketing/advertising industry.
    • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating a range of content and copywriting skills.
    • Experience with content management systems, SEO principles, and digital marketing tools is preferred.
