About the team

The EU Performance Marketing team is an integral part of the EU Marketing organisation. The Performance Marketing team looks after the acquisition strategy and will drive penetration growth tactics to acquire new users against optimal ROI. The team works very closely together with the local brand marketing teams, MarTech, analytics and data teams. Thus central team mission is to unlock synergies, grow scale and build enablers with our growth product teams. This team is an essential part of building the OLX Europe business sustainably over the future. 

About The Role

As the Lead Performance Marketing Manager, you will execute and manage a portfolio of performance marketing campaigns both user and conversion acquisition campaigns on multiple markets in the EU for Motors Vertical. The reason for this team is to drive penetration growth tactics and strategy through addressable paid media optimized towards ROI. You will be responsible for the execution and management of performance marketing campaigns in line with targets and budget allocation. Currently Google is the majority of the existing repertoire of campaigns

Together with the support and enablement of analysts and product teams we will continue to enable you in your role to get the best out of our acquisition efforts. This role reports directly to the EU Head of Performance Marketing and you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and teams across Europe. 

What responsibilities will you get when working with us?:

    • Execute PPC campaigns in line with targets and budget allocation
    • Evaluate the marketing campaigns for their effectiveness and ROI, and constantly optimize for reaching the set KPI targets.
    • Lead Motors Performance Marketing Team, mentor performance marketing team members
    • Co-operate with top Performance Marketing Agency
    • Provide regular updates and deep dives for senior stakeholders about campaign performance 
    • Continuously drive and update test plans to improve performance, add acquisition sources and accelerate learnings. E.g. incrementality testing, experiment new acquisition sources, a/b-testing
    • Own Budgeting, forecasting, reporting
    • Collaborate closely with the EU Performance Marketing team, local brand marketing and CRM team 
    • Collaborate with MarTech and Data Science teams to leverage and enhance internal measurement tools

What will help you to be successful in this role?

    • Ranging 5-8 years of Performance marketing experience in e-commerce companies, preferably on the client side, significant SEA hands-on experience
    • Strong communication and presentation skills including C-level stakeholders in English. Being able to articulate the impact of performance marketing to non-technical audiences
    • Proven ability in manually optimizing and effectively expanding large Paid Search accounts.
    • Fluency in concepts of attribution, incrementality, and previous experience with MarTech/internal attribution/measurement tools is a plus.
    • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau / Looker Studio / PowerBI
    • Natural curiosity--when data looks odd, you dive in to the details
    • Aptitude for problem-solving, and conscientiousness.
    • Proactive, analytical, data-driven, able to work independently and accurately with a 'hands-on' mentality.
    • Tech savvy and being up to date with the latest technology and updates in the performance marketing field.
