The Opportunity
As a Key Account Manager, you'll own and grow a portfolio of strategic advertisers and media agencies, becoming their trusted partner for Advertising solutions across the OLX ecosystem (OLX, Standvirtual and Imovirtual).You'll work consultatively with clients to understand their business challenges, design advertising strategies and demonstrate how OLX audiences, first-party data and advertising products can help achieve measurable marketing outcomes.Beyond selling campaigns, you'll help shape the future of Advertising at OLX by contributing to product adoption, client education and commercial innovation.
What you'll be doing?
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic advertisers and agency partners.
- Build long-term relationships based on trust, commercial excellence and measurable business impact.
- Develop account growth plans focused on revenue expansion, retention and client satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities across existing and new advertisers.
- Recommend integrated advertising solutions combining audience targeting, sponsored products, display, native, video and branded content opportunities.
- Create strategic proposals supported by audience insights, campaign data and market intelligence.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to renewal.
- Partner closely with Ad Operations, Product, Marketing and Data teams to ensure successful campaign delivery and optimization.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM hygiene.
- Represent OLX at client meetings, industry events and commercial presentations.
- Stay informed about market trends, Retail Media innovation and the evolving advertising landscape.
Who we're looking for?
We're looking for someone who combines commercial drive with strategic thinking.You enjoy solving business problems, building trusted relationships and creating value for clients through innovative advertising solutions.You'll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in Digital Advertising, Retail Media, Media Sales or Key Account Management.
- Experience working with advertisers, media agencies or large enterprise accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including Display, Video, Native, Programmatic and Audience-based advertising.
- Understanding of Retail Media, Commerce Media and first-party data strategies.
- Proven track record of achieving commercial targets and growing strategic accounts.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into commercial recommendations.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- Experience working for a publisher, marketplace, e-commerce platform, adtech company or media owner.
- Knowledge of Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, DV360, Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Experience selling audience-based advertising solutions.
- Understanding of measurement, attribution and campaign effectiveness.
- Existing network within advertisers and media agencies in Portugal.
