Fasten your helmet and climb on board if you’re ready to be our Senior Cloud Engineer as part of our Global OLX Business IT Cloud infrastructure team. You'll build, operate and maintain systems used to host OLX group’s core business applications and productivity tools in a reliable manner. Given ample opportunity to sharpen your system engineering skills, you'll own the full lifecycle of our cloud systems, from design to all the way up to deployment.

- Design, plan, build and operate OLX Group’s business applications and productivity tools on AWS cloud platform

- Evolve cloud hosted applications and services by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity

- Setup, maintain and improve system observability stack to be more proactive than reactive system operations

- Participate in a dynamic team cadence with sprint cycle to collaborate with your team members

- Promote and practice technical documentation from design to deployment and maintenance of systems

- Participate in on-call rotation for system operational support to keep our critical system always up and running

- Manage AWS resources spread across several regions like EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, Certificate Manager, EFS, Lambda, Athena, Workspaces, Workdocs, Elasticache, IAM, Cloudwatch and AWS Backup.

- Manage Gitlab, Tableau, SAP on S4/Hana, Hoppscotch, RPA UI Path all running on AWS.

- Manage SaaS like JFrog, Postman, Sectigo SSL Certificate Manager services.

- Track tasks using Jira and ServiceNow.

- Solid work experience in operating AWS cloud and implementing AWS Infrastructure as Code best practices and technologies (e.g., Terraform, Atlantis).

- Practical working knowledge of designing, planning, building and operating distributed systems in a cloud environment.

- Observability skills and experience using platforms like Prometheus, Grafana.

- A system engineer’s working knowledge with Linux operating systems.

- Comfortable to write and maintain Python and Bash scripts to automate tasks.

- Fluent with git version control systems and working knowledge of CI/CD systems, mainly Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.

- System’s networking knowledge is desirable, understanding how network routing and firewall works.

- Previous software development experience is useful but not mandatory.

- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
