Salesforce Product Owner
About the role
As a Salesforce Product Owner, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and the Salesforce engineering team. You’ll own the product backlog, drive delivery through Agile practices, and ensure the platform delivers maximum value to internal users.
This role is about turning complex business needs into clear, actionable work — aligning teams, improving processes, and driving adoption across the organisation.
What you will be doing:
• Own and manage the Salesforce product backlog: prioritise features and tasks in alignment with business goals, platform strategy, and stakeholder needs, ensuring the development team always has a well-groomed and ready queue.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives — ensuring smooth execution, clear communication, and measurable sprint-level success metrics.
• Define, track, and report on product and platform health metrics, including adoption, performance, and delivery KPIs; proactively identify risks and escalate blockers.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage release activities, ensuring changes are validated, documented, and communicated to impacted stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for platform improvement, automation, and tooling expansion; contribute to the product roadmap by providing ground-level insight from sprint execution and user feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date process and product documentation, including flow charts, SOPs, and platform governance artefacts, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and compliance requirements.
Who we are looking for:
Hard Skills:
• 4+ years of experience as a Project / Product / Process Manager, Business owner or similar role with a strong focus on delivery, prioritisation, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM / business platforms in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tickets for development teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to define, track, and communicate product and platform success metrics (quantitative and qualitative).
• Experience coordinating UAT, release management, and change control processes.
Soft Skills:
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Self-starter with a hands-on mentality; comfortable handling ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments.
• Collaborative team player with strong facilitation skills across cross-functional groups.
• User-centred mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and platform value delivery.
Nice to have:
• Experience with AI tools and automations.
• Familiarity with OKR frameworks and product analytics tools.
• Experience working across international and multi-time-zone environments.
