We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to support the OLX team. Your mission is to partner with Managers and work collaboratively across HR to set the people agenda aligned with the business goals of the functions and ensure the delivery of value-added solutions to enable those business functions to succeed. You will drive strategic partnerships for senior leaders on people-related matters, fostering innovative initiatives and shaping impactful business strategies within the organization. You would act as a trusted advisor to people managers, leveraging your advanced business understanding and HR experience to proactively coach, counsel, and influence on people-related matters. You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic HR team.
In a typical day as Senior HR Business Partner, you'll:
- Build and maintain partnerships with the leadership team to create a business and data-driven People Agenda; especially with 2 C-Level Leaders running the Tech & Product Functions
- Advise leaders on people growth strategies and initiatives to ensure retention and growth of high potential employees as well as developing rigor around proactively identifying and addressing lower-performing employees;
- Monitor and measure progress against the People Agenda to identify trends, share recommendations and make adaptations, as needed;
- Facilitate the employee engagement action planning process with business leaders;
- Develop a robust understanding and knowledge of key talent and work with leaders to ensure proper development plans are in place for these individuals;
- Identify talent development needs and partner with the Talent team to create value-add solutions to close the gaps;
- Understand the HR programs to effectively translate and implement: educate senior leaders on specific programs or processes and coach them to understand the role they play in driving a successful outcome, create and manage timelines and necessary communications appropriately;
- Partner with leaders and employees to address and resolve complex employee relations issues.
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in Human Resources or Management;
- 7-10 years of professional experience in the HR department of an international company, with at least 4 years of experience in the HR Business Partner area;
- Experience in partnering C-Level Stakeholders, especially in bringing Functional Leadership Team into High Performing One
- Being a strong team player who is used to working with senior stakeholders and big teams (+100 people) across several locations;
- Showcasing a strong business acumen and a data driven mindset, with the ability to dig into numbers and analytics to inform decision making
- Commitment to taking on an independent, structured, and agile way of thinking;
- Being a passionate, communicative, and assertive HR person that understands the needs of our business and a good listener to our managers and employees;
- Talent for coordination, teamwork, strategic thinking and driving impact
- Demonstrated success coaching, training, advising, and providing consultative support to leaders across multiple levels;
- Solid judgment, critical thinking and ability to balance the needs of the company, managers, and employees;
- Unquestioned integrity and a confident presence to effectively resolve sensitive employee issues;
- Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
