As RtR Accountant you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports and performing reconciliations with involvement in month-end and year-end close processes.
In a typical day as an RtR Accountant, you'll:
- Handle accounting transactions, including accruals, deferrals, payroll postings, fixed assets, prepaids, reclasses on costs and revenue, regrouping, and valuation.
- Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Understand accounting systems and processes; contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments and communicate findings effectively.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and accounts reconciliation.
- Extensive analytical and computer skills (Excel on advanced level).
- Experience in working with accounting software, preferably SAP / S4Hana.
- Higher Education - University Degree (degree in accounting, finance, economics).
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably General Ledger area.
- Fluency in English.
