We are looking for a Fraud Prevention Specialist (f/m) in our amazing OLX Hub in Bucharest.

As a Fraud Prevention Specialist for OLX, you will deal with preventing and stopping fraud situations that may appear on the site, offering our clients and users a safe environment in which they can transact or buy goods and services.

What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

    • Prevent and stop situations of fraud, abuse, and other scenarios with a negative impact on customers;
    • Identify high-risk behaviors and situations for the company's customers and act quickly;
    • Report current situations, suggestions, and areas for improvement in preventing and stopping fraud (rules, filters, necessary tools);
    • Maintain and continuously update safety standards;
    • Show constant interest in trends, new schemes, market checks and testing;
    • Collaborate closely with the teams responsible for content quality and customer support to adapt the customer's sales and buying experience, according to their needs and expectations;
    • Collaborate closely with local authorities;
    • Be involved in the full flow of solving a fraud situation directly or through colleagues in the customer support department.

What will you need to be successful in this role?

    • High-school degree or university student in progress;
    • Strong ability to find patterns, trends, and critical thinking skills to analyze the entire picture to identify fraud;
    • Proactive attitude in identifying areas of risk;
    • Attention to detail, organization, and comfortable operating within ambiguity;
    • Good communication skills;
    • Desire to continually learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment;
    • Good level of English - B1/B2;
    • Experience using Microsoft Office/Google Suite products;
    • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
