As a Remote Full-Stack Software Engineer, you can work in a full-remote setup residing in Portugal, and you'll work on a microservices architecture, based mostly on Amazon Web Services, with Golang as the language of choice.
Are you someone who is craving scalable problems and dealing with optimizations? You'll work with a creative, important team from the comfort of your house but as close as we have ever been!
What you will do:
- Develop one of the main components of the current strategy, while participating in product design, security, and privacy discussions.
- Write and review code, and ensure quality is a first-class citizen.
- Contribute to single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Work with authorization flows and Cognito user pools.
- Participate in solving specific technical challenges with engineers from other European offices and have a chance to accelerate your impact by delivering for millions of customers.
- Contribute to our engineering community through our communities of interest or even driving/participating in Design documents or RFCs.
- Report to the Engineering Manager directly.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Understand backend technologies, architecture, and challenges (a.k.a. mid-level/regular engineer).
- Experience with the following technologies: Golang (3+ years), TypeScript and React (3+ years), Git (2+ years), CI/CD, and RESTful APIs (1+ years).
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 flows.
- Knowledge of PHP is beneficial since our monolith relies on it.
- Knowledge of AWS is beneficial since our microservices solution relies on it
- Experienced with large-scale web applications, with an economic thinking mindset.
- Team player attitude.
- Proficient in English, with good verbal and written communication skills.
