Based in Milan but supporting our SaaS division in Germany, we are looking for a full-time employee  in the Applications Operations team to start as soon as possible.
 

Job descripiton:

  • You will be responsible for our SaaS OBS environments and the operation of various interfaces to and from OBS (Objectway Banking Suite)
  • You monitor and control the daily and end-of-day processing
  • You provide our software for our customers and support them with our releases
  • You will work closely with the core banking development team, project management and client support teams
  • You will help to ensure compliance with SLAs, internal and customer specifications and legal requirements
  • You coordinate tests and in some cases carry them out yourself

Required Skills:

  • Completed studies or equivalent practical IT/banking training
  • Solid knowledge of the administration of Linux operating systems and Windows server 
  • Solid knowledge in SQL (ANSI)  and experience with ORACLE DB-administration
  • Experience in dealing with data centres (e.g. setting up and operating infrastructures)
  • Solid knowledge in Shell-scripting and experience in one or more programming languages (Python, Perl, C, C++ or Java)
  • Experience in IT support, software packaging and software delivery systems
  • Understanding and knowledge of automation, continuous integration and build tools
  • Experience with service desk tools such as Jira, Confluence etc
  • Excellent problem solving skills and customer orientated approach to work
  • Strong team and communication skills and a structured way of working
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-site, functional teams
  • Organisational skills and the ability to work under time pressure
  • Agile mindset and experience with agile methods such as Jira and Confluence to support daily work
  • Experience in project work
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
  • Fluent English and good German language skills are also desirable
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours or on weekends to complete special tasks

  • The salary range for this position is €35,000 – €45,000.
    This compensation complies with the pay transparency requirements set out in EU Directive 2023/970.
