The role
As a Senior Product Designer at Numan, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering patient-centred solutions, ensuring every interaction with our platform is intuitive, impactful, and aligned with our mission. Working within a cross-functional team, you will design experiences that solve meaningful patient problems while contributing to reusable, scalable design systems. You’ll champion design excellence and continuous innovation, ensuring that patients receive the best possible experience at every touchpoint.
You’ll be:
- Owning the end-to-end design process for your product area, from discovery through to delivery.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to define the “how” of patient-centred solutions, ensuring alignment with Numan’s mission.
- Leading design discovery efforts to uncover patient needs, motivations, and pain points.
- Using research techniques such as interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform and validate design choices.
- Translating insights into intuitive, impactful design concepts and prototypes.
- Creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes that guide development.
- Partnering with engineers to ensure seamless implementation, balancing technical feasibility with design integrity.
- Maintaining and evolving Numan’s design system, contributing to scalable, reusable design patterns across the platform.
- Advocating for design best practices and patient-centric thinking within cross-functional teams.
- Contributing to the definition and tracking of KPIs that measure the success of design outcomes, iterating based on data and feedback.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Senior Product Designer in digital product environments, ideally in healthcare or regulated industries.
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions that balance usability, innovation, and business goals.
- Expertise in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a focus on translating insights into actionable design.
- A proactive, outcome-driven mindset with an ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach and openness to feedback, thriving in cross-functional team settings.
- A passion for Numan’s mission to improve patient health and life outcomes.
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience working on design systems.
