To deliver on our transformative mission, we are guided by our 5 company values:

• Patients first.
• Learn Fast.
• Own the quality.
• Succeed together.
• Care deeply.

Backed by top-tier investors, Numan is already having a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of patients here in the UK, and we want you to help us deliver this mission!

The role

As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will build and own relationships with some of Numan’s most important external stakeholders, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostics providers and ecosystem partners. You will move beyond transactional account management to developing long-term, trust-based partnerships informed by data across multiple dimensions, including commercial, financial, supply chain, research and data sharing, and at all levels of partner organisations.

You will build strategic partnerships that have meaningful, long-term impact, shaping Numan’s competitive position and future success by:

• Improving market defensibility, including supply chain stability, early access to medication, exclusivity, patient proposition, or access to novel treatments.
• Delivering financial value, such as margin improvement or incremental, non-operational revenue.
• Creating clear competitive differentiation in the market.
• Strengthening Numan’s brand credibility with B2B stakeholders and our D2C audience.

You'll be:

    • Acting as the primary point of contact for key pharmaceutical suppliers and service providers.
    • Building long-term relationships that position Numan as a priority partner.
    • Collaborating with senior leadership and business unit teams to understand strategic priorities and align partnerships with company objectives.
    • Identifying partnership needs that support Numan’s broader commercial and clinical strategy.
    • Identifying, sourcing and developing strategic partnerships, including pharmaceutical suppliers, diagnostic providers and consumer brands.
    • Supporting the execution of Numan’s strategy through high-impact external relationships.
    • Analysing market opportunities, incorporating competitive analysis, patient and business insights, and financial modelling to inform partnership development.
    • Building and maintaining a structured pipeline of potential strategic commercial initiatives.
    • Ensuring initiatives are clearly sized, prioritised and tracked across impact, dependencies and timing, using a CRM system that supports transparency and efficiency.
    • Leading commercial negotiations, including unit pricing, rebates, volume discounts and payment terms.
    • Managing contracting in partnership with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure clear, balanced and sustainable agreements.
    • Developing robust financial models and business cases for new initiatives, including product launches, category expansion and pricing negotiations.
    • Working with complex datasets across sales, marketing, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
    • Representing Numan externally at conferences and industry events to identify and develop high-impact partnerships.
    • Monitoring pharmaceutical pricing trends, regulatory changes and the generics landscape to identify opportunities for supplier changes or contract renegotiation.

We’re looking for someone who has:

    • A degree in Business, STEM, Life Sciences or a related field, with additional postgraduate study considered a plus.
    • Experience in commercial planning, business analysis or a similar role within healthcare, technology or a related industry. Experience in management consulting is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
    • Experience using forecasting methods and data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, or Looker.
    • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a structured and accessible way.
    • A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and operational improvement.
    • Comfort managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
