Senior Finance Analyst
The Role
We're looking for an experienced commercial finance professional to join our FP&A team at a pivotal moment, as we shift from a fast-moving startup into a structured scale-up.
You'll own the weekly and monthly reporting cadence and turn it into a clear story about how the business is performing. Just as importantly, you'll partner directly with our Commercial, Marketing & Operational teams — building the business cases behind new initiatives, testing whether the numbers stack up, and helping decide where we invest.
This is a role for someone who wants to be close to commercial decisions rather than one step removed from them.
The Team
You'll report to our Senior FP&A Manager and work closely with the Director of Finance and CFO. It's a lean team, which means opportunities for exposure to our Executive Leadership Team.
What you'll do:
-
Producing and continuously improving weekly flash reports, monthly trading packs and KPI reporting.
-
Translating financial and operational data into concise narratives that highlight trends, risks and opportunities for leadership, board and investors.
-
Building the analysis that improves how we understand revenue, customer behaviour, retention and profitability.
-
Partnering directly with Marketing and Commercial teams on acquisition spend, pricing and growth initiatives, turning analysis into decisions they act on.
-
Building business cases and running scenario analysis to size opportunities, cost them and set out the expected return, and saying so when the numbers don't stack up.
-
Owning your part of the annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles, and improving our forecasting models, assumptions and planning methodologies.
-
Driving improvements in reporting automation, data quality and financial processes, using AI tools and emerging technologies to work faster and sharper.
-
Challenging existing processes and finding ways to simplify, automate and scale how Finance supports the business.
What we're looking for:
-
Has proven experience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally in a revenue side role.
-
Has owned management reporting, budgeting and forecasting cycles (not just contributed to them).
-
. Understands the economics of customer acquisition — the cost to acquire a customer, their lifetime value, and the payback period — and is able to translate that into commercial decisions.
-
Has worked with non-finance teams.
-
Has advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, and is confident working with large datasets.
-
Has used BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Looker or similar.
-
Can communicate complex information clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
It’s a bonus if you have:
-
Experience in a consumer subscription, D2C or digital health business.
-
Worked in a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
-
A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a structured graduate finance programme behind you.
