The Role

We’re seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join Numan’s Clinical Operations team, supporting the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of our services. In this hands-on operational role, you will play a key part in day-to-day service delivery, combining direct clinical involvement with practical operational coordination to ensure care is delivered consistently, safely and in line with governance standards.

You will act as a go-to operational contact for clinical teams, supporting complex cases and service challenges while helping embed clear, efficient processes. This role focuses on maintaining high standards in daily delivery, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to the ongoing development of scalable systems.

You’ll be:

  • Providing safe, effective and high-quality patient care as a practising clinician.
  • Managing Clinical Team Leads in day-to-day service delivery.
  • Overseeing operational workflows to ensure clinical safety, SLA adherence and service efficiency.
  • Monitoring key performance and cost metrics, with the ability to interrogate and interpret datasets confidently to support improvements in service delivery and clinician utilisation.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and improving processes, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
  • Mapping and understanding the end-to-end clinical journey, including the data points contributing to operational metrics and translating that data into actionable improvements.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working within clinical operations in digital health or technology-enabled healthcare settings.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of high-volume clinical services in fast-paced environments.
  • The ability to balance daily operational execution with practical workflow improvements.
  • Strong data literacy - comfortable working with clinical and operational data, interpreting trends, spotting anomalies, and communicating findings clearly to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with data tools (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, or similar) to extract, analyse and present operational performance data.
  • Familiarity with technology-enabled workflows, including automation or AI tools that enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Applied clinical knowledge in practice, either as a registered clinician or through close collaboration with prescribers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience collaborating across functions, including Product, Operations and Commercial teams, to ensure clinical processes are implemented effectively.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with automation, AI or workflow optimisation in clinical environments.
  • Experience supporting CPD or case-based learning within clinical teams.
