We’re looking for an experienced R&D Quality Engineer who doesn’t just “audit” processes, but actively partners with engineering teams to build better products.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening our Automotive SPICE maturity while ensuring that quality is embedded into how we design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge automotive systems.

If you enjoy working hands-on with development teams, influencing engineering practices, and turning process frameworks into real-world impact, this role is for you.

What will your job look like:

  • Partner with system and software engineering teams to implement and improve ASPICE-compliant processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement of product quality, not just process adherence

  • Support and guide teams through ASPICE assessments (internal & external)

  • Translate ASPICE requirements into practical, scalable engineering workflows

  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities across the development lifecycle

  • Coach teams on best practices in systems & software engineering

  • Contribute to building a quality-driven engineering culture

All you need is:

  • B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • ASPICE Provisional Assessor certification with Cybersecurity extension (Competent assessor is a plus)

  • Strong background in systems & software engineering

  • Proven experience implementing ASPICE in real projects

  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (both verbal and written)
  • ASPICE for Machine Learning

  • VW SQIL certification
