We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated NPI Engineer to join our Radar NPI group.

Radar organization is developing Automotive Imaging Radar to enable fully autonomous driving. Radar NPI group has multidisciplinary responsibilities, NPI team manages lab various activities, support R&D and also end-to-end internal and external production (Si, packages, board, mechanics, etc.) from early stage to mass production. Radar NPI group is also responsible for transferring new Radar products from R&D to Production by selecting and establishing production lines at various contract manufactures while optimizing the design towards manufacturing.

What will your job look like?

    • Work with various contract manufacturers abroad, establish radar production line toward HVM
    • Working in collaboration with R&D and other cross organization teams
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define NPI objectives, milestones, and success criteria
    • Develop and execute NPI plans based on organization milestones and targets
    • Work closely with the quality team to integrate quality standards into the NPI process
    • Managing lab activities
    • Coordination between local and abroad electronics and mechanics vendors
    • Production line technical support at various subcontractors at Far East, Europe and Israel
    • Configuration control, ECO’s implementation
    • Mechanical drawings/assembly instructions/test procedures/labels preparation
    • Implementation of production testing tools, jigs and test benches
    • Examination and approval of prototype parts
    • Failure investigation (mechanical/electrical)

All you need is:

    • 10+ years of experience in similar positions
    • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary NPI Process of an HW-SW- Mechanical product
    • Experience with global electronics manufacturing operations processes and suppliers management
    • Experience with managing complex projects
    • Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; strong HW background is advantage
    • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and Hebrew, other languages are an advantage
    • Self-learner
    • Experience with RF products – advantage
    • Experience with automotive products – advantage
    • Able and willing to travel as needed
