Mobileye is at the forefront of developing autonomous driving systems with leading OEMs, by integrating Mobileye state-of-the-art ECUs into various vehicles.
OPG group is responsible for providing optical path solutions for new and existing projects, approving new camera sensors , lens and optical design, providing Image Quality Specification and Evaluation.
OPG group is also responsible for the Architecture of the optical path – the subsystem that resides between the sensors and Mobileye’s SOC(SerDes, MIPI interfaces, etc.)
The group’s work scope includes Product requirements, System Architecture, SW requirements, Image Quality, Lens and optical design, Camera sensor selection and specification, Supplier management and close collaboration with Tier1 companies.
As OPG Manager you will be part of Platform Product and Architecture organization in Mobileye. You will plan and manage entrance of new projects and technologies into ME. You will oversee various domains and manage several teams that work on these topics.
** This role requires working from our Jerusalem site at least 2 days per week. It also offers the flexibility to work part-time from our other sites, subject to seat availability.
What will your job look like?
- Plan and manage new and complex optical path requirements and product till final integration in ME SW and HW.
- Lead a group of a few teams, that defines and influences Mobileye’s camera products requirements, specifications and roadmap. The group deals with product and architecture definitions in professional fields such as Optics, Sensors, Image quality and related interfaces (e.g. MIPI, SerDes).
- Be responsible for: Camera sensors specification and roadmap, Optical design and specifications, Image quality metrics, KPIs and evaluations
- Engage with Customers: Analyze and understand OEM requirements and maximize alignment with existing solutions
- Strong collaboration with SW and HW development teams
- Collaborate with BizDev: For new projects, work together with business development to ensure new designs comply with company road map.
- Work closely with Project Managers: Define, map dependencies, and prioritize the scope of work
- Innovate with Sensing, Driving and Fusion teams: To optimize overall system performance
All you need is:
- Experience with embedded RT SW development (5+ years)
- Management experience (+5 years), Prioritization and correct assignment of tasks
- Experience in Customer Management (+5 years)
- Planning of complex integrations for new technologies, eg. DMS illumination
- Strong understanding of Systems (HW And SW), experience with System Architecture, understanding HW block diagrams
- Experience with creation of technical documentation: System Requirements, System Architecture, Customer documentation (eg. Design guidelines)
- Familiarity with System and Product methodologies: Including customer requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, validation, and traceability
- Good understanding of the Optical path within the System: HW path from SOC to camera, Camera SW stack, System architecture and flows, Image quality for Computer Vision\Visualization
- Leadership and strong Communication skills
- Working with multiple stakeholder – Project/Product managers, BizDev, Algo developers, SW developers and more
- Working in ambiguous environment (new projects, new technology, unclear R&Rs)
