Mobileye is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support various automotive companies (OEMs) in their deployment of Mobileye products.
In this position you will need to on-site at Customer locations.

What will your job look like?

    • You will be responsible for debugging issues on base tech both at customer HiLs and vehicles.
    • You will need to travel frequently to visit customer sites across USA (Florida, California, Texas) and Manufacturing plant in Mexico.
    • You will be at customer site to support flashing Software/Firmware on next generation Mobileye Electronic Control Units.
    • You will understand and analyze problems and provide technical solutions where applicable.
    • You will get to firsthand experience and be part of building the most challenging and inspiring product in the Automotive domain (full self-driving cars)

All you need is:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical field from an accredited institution
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as Field Application Engineer or Resident Engineer or System verification Engineer in automotive industry
    • Deep understanding of Embedded systems, debug interfaces like JTAG, UART, ethernet
    • Experience in working with external memories eMMC, NOR, SPI
    • Knowledge of protocols TFTP, SFTP, SCP, UDS, Over the air updates
    • Hands-on experience on using test benches and working Test Vehicles
    • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues on Base SW
    • Knowledge of communication Buses and protocols like CAN, CANFD, ETH, SOMEIP
    • Fluent English language and excellent communication skills
    • Flexibility to travel on short notice to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years of System/SW/Validation experience in the Automotive industry, ADAS related product preferred.
    • Experience in working with Vector debugging tools CANoe, CANanalyzer, etc.
    • Advanced System/Software analysis and debug skills on test benches and vehicles
    • Ability to identify and analyze HW issues.
    • Knowledge of ECU manufacturing and cyber security concepts on an ECU.
