The Safety Architecture teams at Mobileye's main goal is to drive the system and SW architecture safety aspects within the ME products. The Key Activities we face are:
Safety Concept: Perform Vehicle level (HARA), System level (FMEA) Component level (ETA) safety analysis, introduce safety to be part of the system design
Derive safety requirements: Define the safety requirements in the various levels and feed them to product management
Support Mobileye growth: Embed safety within the development process from system definition and architecture onwards to the component level

What your job will look like:
- Support the definition of highly assisted (L2+ / L3) and autonomous driving features
- Performs hazard analysis, and defines safety goals and their attributes (ASIL, FTTI, safe state transition)
- Define a vehicle-level safety concept for the features (including requirements or assumptions of use for all sensors, HMI, and actuators in the vehicle
- Substantiate the functional safety concept and a physical level (identification of safety-critical signals from DBC files, identification of safety-critical HW and SW components...)
- Define test plans (including validation test plans), analyze and review test campaign results
- Communication within the project team as well as with external parties (customer, supplier), e.g. inquiries and technical items
- Keep updated on the project documentation.
All you need is:
- Availability to work at least 3 days a week from Koblenz Mobileye offices
- Control engineering or a similar degree
- Familiar with the most common ADAS functions
- Experience in developing vehicle-level control systems
- Hazard analysis, FMEA knowledge, and experience
- Familiarity with vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape...) is an advantage
- Initiative and excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English.
