Mobileye is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our AV Platform HW Development group in Israel to design the next generation of autonomous driving systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Board Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital design and signal integrity simulations, with a proven track record of leading projects from initial concept, throughout design, validation and qualification to mass production. You will play a key role in developing advanced ECU hardware solutions that meet the rigorous standards of the automotive sector.
What will your job look like?
- Hardware Design: Lead the design and development of high-quality hardware boards for automotive applications, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.
- Signal and Power Integrity Simulations: Conduct thorough signal and power integrity simulations to optimize hardware performance and reliability in automotive environments.
- Electrical Validation: Perform comprehensive electrical validation to ensure designs meet all functional and safety requirements.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the design lifecycle, including design specifications, test plans, and production procedures.
- Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to mass production, addressing any issues that arise during the process.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in hardware design, implementing best practices to enhance design efficiency and product quality.
All you need is:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware board design, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong expertise in digital design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in power and signal integrity analysis and simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, ADS, or similar).
- Proficiency in Electrical simulations (e.g. Spice, or similar)
- Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100) and compliance requirements – an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with high-speed digital design and mixed-signal systems.
- Knowledge of functional safety principles and practices in automotive applications.
- Previous experience in leading projects from concept to production.
