We are looking for a highly experienced and innovative

Senior Information Systems Engineer – AI & Automation to join our Information Systems department. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role within a team responsible for managing, maintaining, and evolving a portfolio of enterprise IS platforms.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving AI adoption and automation across our Information Systems landscape. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on hands-on engineering, integration development, and platform optimization, while the remaining 20% will focus on strategic thinking — identifying opportunities, evaluating emerging technologies, and shaping the IS roadmap for AI-driven innovation.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering results in complex IS environments. This is not an entry-level position — we need someone who has accumulated significant experience across IS platforms, integrations, and AI technologies, and who brings a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and a forward-thinking mindset.

What will your job look like?

Design, implement, and maintain AI-powered solutions and automation workflows across enterprise IS platforms.

Evaluate, pilot, and deploy emerging AI tools and technologies to enhance IS capabilities, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency.

Lead cross-functional IS projects from requirements gathering through delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.

Develop and maintain custom scripts, connectors, and technical solutions to bridge gaps between platforms and enable seamless data flow.

Continuously monitor the AI and IS technology landscape, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Contribute to the definition of IS standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for AI and automation adoption.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, AI-enhanced IS solutions.

Document technical designs, integration architectures, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.

All you need is:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Information Systems engineering, administration, or a comparable role in enterprise environments.

Proven experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, and related tools) and familiarity with project/work management platforms such as Asana and Monday.com.

Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with AI technologies, tools, and frameworks as applied to Information Systems — including AI-driven automation, intelligent workflows, and AI-assisted development.

Strong experience with integration platforms (e.g., Workato, N8N, or equivalent) and a solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data orchestration patterns.

Solid coding and scripting abilities with the capacity to develop, debug, and maintain custom integrations, automation scripts, and technical solutions.

Proven ability to independently manage and deliver IS projects end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and execution.

A strong track record of identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing innovative solutions, and driving change within an IS organization.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Highly autonomous, proactive, and reliable — able to take ownership of initiatives and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

Experience with additional IS platforms beyond the Atlassian ecosystem (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, or ERP systems).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based IS architectures.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy in the context of IS automation.

Experience working in large-scale, global enterprise environments with complex IS ecosystems.
